The Destination Thailand Visa

Once you have obtained your Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) and are residing in Thailand, you can extend your visa annually for an additional 180 days. To apply for an extension, visit the designated immigration office in Thailand.

For the first 180-day extension, you will be required to pay a DTV extension fee. The immigration office may request specific documentation to process your extension, so ensure you have all necessary papers ready at the time of application.

By following these steps, you can continue to enjoy your stay in Thailand and under the DTV program, allowing you to maximize your time in this beautiful country. Be sure to apply for your extension before your current visa expires to maintain your legal status in Thailand.
